EU-Organic Cerfication

People are more concerned than ever about what they are eating. Choosing certified organic foods provides a tangible way for you to benefit the environment, local economies, and public health, both on and off the farm. Organic farming is an agricultural approach that advocates healthy products free from components that may harm humans and nature. They include but are not limited to industrial pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, clones, GMOs, chemical medications, hormones and growth-boosters.

In order to obtain the green EU logo and the mention "organic", our Sunbird Superior products were certified by a certification body approved by the competent authority to attest their compliance to the EU organic regulation. For an imported product to be sold as organic within the EU, it must conform to equivalent standards as EU produced goods. To ensure this, there are procedures that all importers have to follow when they wish to market a product as organic.
