Strawberry hibiscus iced tea
- 8 cups water
- 8 Superior Hibiscus and Rooibos tea bags
- 1 cup sugar or ¾ cup honey (optional)
- ½ cup lime juice
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
Bring the water, Hibiscus and Rooibos tea bags, and preferred sweetener to a boil and immediately turn off the heat, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes. Stir the mixture a bit to ensure granulated sugar is dissolved and strain half into a blender. You puree in two batches. Using half of the strawberries, puree until smooth and pour into a pitcher. Continue with the rest of the tea and strawberries. Once pureed, mix with the other in the pitcher. Taste and add additional sweetener if desired. Serve ice cold, stirred or shaken before pouring into a glass. Down the hatchet!
